Discover how your Ultrio membership provides a simple, affordable way to manage healthcare—combining major medical support, everyday care, and prescription savings in one seamless membership.
What is included in the Ultrio Membership?
Ultrio Virtual Membership has access to personalized, on-demand healthcare through virtual consultations with Primestin Care; prescription benefits through Zion RxShare; and preventive care and medical cost sharing for unexpected medical concerns through Zion HealthShare.
The Ultrio Plus membership is ACA compliant and offers unlimited primary care visits, specialist visits, urgent care visits, labs and immunizations and an RX Benefit Plan in addition to the virtual care and cost sharing for unexpected medical needs.
The Ultrio HSA includes an HSA Qualified / ACA compliant plan to include preventive care services, RX Benefit Plan, virtual care and cost sharing for those larger needs. Use your HSA to pay for Qualified Medical Expenses.
As a HealthShare member, you will be able to submit eligible medical expenses for cost sharing with the greater Zion HealthShare community.
When you experience a shareable medical need, you will pay your initial unshareable amount (IUA) and then the remaining costs may be shared with the community.
Who is eligible to join the Ultrio Membership?
Ultrio is open to anyone looking for an alternative to traditional health insurance and is interested in:

- Want flexibility without network restrictions
- Prefer monthly memberships over long‑term contracts
- Are looking for alternatives to traditional prepaid insurance
- Want more control over how they spend their healthcare dollars
How do I enroll in an Ultrio Membership?
Click the “enroll now” button located at the top of this page to get started.
You will be directed to the sign up page. Follow the prompts to fill in your information and pick your ideal membership.
Can I use the Ultrio Membership with my current healthcare providers?
Yes. Certain components of the Ultrio membership are made to work with your current providers. For example, your HealthShare membership has built in flexibility to work with whatever providers you choose.
For RX Benefits and Programs, prescriptions can be transferred to a partner pharmacy for home delivery or you can continue to use your local pharmacy for pick up. Please note: maintenance medications must be fulfilled via home delivery. Your first fill will be through your local pharmacy for pick up.
Virtual Care is provided through Primestin Care and their team of providers. If you opt for Ultrio Plus or Ultrio HSA, which include in person care, Primestin will be your first point of contact for care coordination.

Is Zion HealthShare Insurance?
No. Insurance arrangements are a contract whereby one party agrees to be legally responsible for and accept another party’s risk of loss in exchange for a payment—a premium.
Medical cost sharing is a community where members agree to share medical expenses through voluntary giving. Unlike insurance, the focus of Zion HealthShare is to provide an avenue for members to help each other bear their immediate healthcare expenses.
Since the 1980s, health share programs have grown as a low-cost alternative to health insurance. A health share is a group of people who have agreed to help with each other’s medical costs.
Most health shares operate through monthly contributions distributed to people who need help paying medical bills. Health share programs generally have an unshared amount that an individual is responsible for paying before sharing begins.
What is an IUA?
The initial unshareable amount, or IUA, is the amount a member will pay per medical need before the Zion HealthShare community shares in medical expenses.
Zion HealthShare has three IUA options: $1,250 $2,500, and $5,000. The lower your IUA, the higher your monthly contribution will be.
How does Zion HealthShare work?
Once you are a member, and you experience a medical need, you will follow three simple steps:
1. Submit a Sharing Request:
Unless it is an emergency, contact Zion HealthShare prior to any medical appointment. Their helpful team can help you navigate your healthcare experience.
2. Present as a Self-Pay Patient:
Zion HealthShare is not insurance, so, you will communicate with your providers differently than you may have previously. At appointments related to shareable needs, please present yourself as a self-pay patient.
3. Share with the Community:
After you meet your IUA, eligible medical expenses will be shared with the community. When your medical need is determined eligible for sharing, Zion HealthShare will work with you to coordinate provider payments. As you receive bills from your provider, request itemized statements and send them through your member portal.
Does Zion HealthShare have religious requirements?
No. Zion HealthShare welcomes members of all walks of life regardless of religious affiliation.
How does Zion HealthShare pay for medical bills?
Once your sharing request has been approved, and your IUA has been met, the Zion HealthShare community can facilitate sharing in many ways, including mailing a check, ACH transfer, or via credit card payment.
How long does it take Zion HealthShare to share in bills?
Zion HealthShare prioritizes quickly sharing into medical expenses. With proper documentation, sharing can occur in as quickly as 2-5 weeks.
To help expedite the process, after you've submitted your sharing request through the Member Portal, please be aware that you may also be requested to sign a HIPAA Authorization Form. This provides Zion HealthShare with the ability to request applicable medical records and information related to your sharing request.
What is Zion RxShare?
Zion RxShare is a prescription benefit program designed to make medications more affordable and accessible. With structured co-pays, a vast pharmacy network, and mail-order services, it ensures you get your essential medications conveniently and at reduced prices.
What are the benefits of the RxShare service?
The Zion RxShare service provides significant savings on medications. You will have access to 800 generics for $5, and many other medications for $15.
You may be able to save up to 80% off retail on certain brand name and specialty medications. Best of all, you can set up convenient mail-order refills so you never have to worry about missing a dose.
How does Zion Rx Share work?
The RxShare pricing system has set prices for different medication categories: a small set of common medications have a $0 price tag, 800 formulary generics are $5, and a limited number of other common medications are $15.
Outside of this, Zion RxShare is set up to find you the best price on whatever medication you are looking for. Between retail discount cards and international sourcing, RxShare can save you up to 80% on brand name and specialty medications.
Can I get my prescriptions delivered to my home?
Absolutely! Zion RxShare offers an easy home-delivery service, allowing members to opt for 90-day refills with free standard shipping and automatic re-fills so you never miss a dose.
How extensive is the Zion RxShare pharmacy network?
RxShare works with a vast, nationwide network with over 70,000 pharmacies, giving you a wide range of options to choose from when obtaining your prescriptions.
What if I need assistance with high-cost medications?
We offer a Prescription Assistance Program specifically designed to help cover the costs of the most expensive medications. Our patient advocacy team is also available to provide support and answer any questions you might have.
Can I use Zion RxShare for my pet's medications?
Indeed, you can! Zion RxShare provides up to 80% savings on your pet's medications, ensuring even your furry friends benefit from our program.

What is Ultrio with Primestin Virtual Care?
Ultrio includes a Primestin Care Virtual Primary Care membership - a digital healthcare membership that allows you to consult with medical professionals remotely, providing a timely and efficient channel for personalized medical care without the need for in-person visits.
How do I access this virtual care service?
Once you are enrolled in either Ultrio or UltrioPlus, you can log into the Primestin Care app and schedule a virtual consultation or contact a provider by calling 435-281-2273.
Your provider will be able to recommend a course of action or treatment as needed and can even call in prescriptions when appropriate.
Are the virtual consultations secure and confidential?
Ultrio prioritizes patient confidentiality. All virtual consultations are encrypted and adhere to strict privacy regulations.
Can I get prescriptions through virtual primary care?
If during your consultation the healthcare provider deems it necessary, they can send prescriptions to your preferred local pharmacy. Your Zion RxShare membership will work for any prescription you may need either for a discounted price or low fee.
How does virtual primary care compare to in-person visits?
Virtual primary care is more cost-effective than traditional office visits, and much more convenient, as it eliminates costs associated with things like travel and time off work.
Will I see the same doctor every time I use the service?
Because the availability of individual providers can vary, Ultrio cannot guarantee you will deal with the same provider every time. However, once you get set up and provide consent, all Primestin Care medical professionals will have access to your health records. This way, you can expect consistent and informed care regardless of the provider.
Can I use virtual primary care for emergencies?
No. Primestin virtual primary care is designed for non-emergency medical consultations. For emergencies or urgent medical situations, please visit the nearest emergency room or call emergency services immediately.
Primestin Advanced Care offers a more robust primary care membership, including access to virtual medical consultations with the addition of in-person services including primary care visits, specialist care, urgent care, and a limited lab work allowance of up to $250 per year).
Are in-person visits included?
In-office primary care, specialist, and urgent care visits are included with Ultrio Plus.
